Benedict’s Law - Allergy & Anaphylaxis Training
From September 1st 2026 new legislation is in place stating that all staff working in schools must have training in allergy awareness and anaphylaxis response.
As a former Headteacher, the founding trainer at Don’t Panic! First Aid is well placed to deliver high quality training to schools to support keeping their pupils safe.
Prices start from £175 for a 1 hour whole staff training session.
What to Expect-
This course can be delivered to large groups of staff simultaneously to enable meeting the statutory requirement that all staff working in schools are trained in allergy and anaphylaxis awareness.

During the session, we focus on the most important first aid skills for allergies:
Knowing common allergens
Spotting signs of mild allergic reactions
Identifying signs of anaphylaxis
Treatment for mild allergic reactions and anaphylaxis
When and how to seek medical help

The session includes hands-on practice using EpiPen and Jext trainer auto adrenaline injectors.
No prior knowledge is needed.

This course is designed to be practical and reassuring—not overwhelming.
Delivered by a former Deputy Headteacher, the training combines professional expertise with a calm, approachable style that staff find both reassuring and easy to follow.

There’s plenty of time throughout the session to ask questions and discuss real-life scenarios. Many staff find this one of the most valuable parts of the course. You are always welcome to keep in touch with any questions that arise following the course.
