As a former deputy headteacher, I understand that organising training is about more than simply finding a provider. It means balancing staffing pressures, maintaining cover and ensuring your team receives training that is relevant, engaging and practical.

That's why Don't Panic! First Aid offers flexible delivery options, including workplace training at your premises, community-based courses for individual accreditation and bespoke sessions tailored to your organisation's needs.

All training is delivered personally using modern equipment and realistic scenarios to create a hands-on learning experience that prepares participants for real-life emergencies.

  • As a former Deputy Headteacher, I understand how adults learn and how to design training that people remember. I hold the following education qualifcations:

    Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

    National Professional Qualification in Senior Leadership (NPQSL)

    It is essential that your first aid instructor is well qualified in first aid to give you confidence.

    I hold the following first aid qualifications:

    TQUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)

    TQUK Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF)

    ITG First Aid at Work Instructor

    ITG Paediatric First Aid Instructor

    ITG AED Instructor

  • As a former deputy headteacher I understand the challenges around ensuring cover for your setting to release staff to attend training.

    To minimise disruption and help maintain staffing ratios, I offer:

    Blended courses (50% of content is completed online in advance of the face to face course)

    Combined courses (complete 2 courses at the same time to support first aid coverage for both children and adults on site)

    Evening sessions (the course can be delivered in 3 hour blocks after the setting closes)

    Weekend availability

    Weekday availability (if you chose to use an INSET day if you are in education)

  • As the person taking your booking is the person delivering your training, I am able to listen to your bespoke needs and adapt the training to your setting.

    Having worked both in and out of education, I have a wide range of scenarios to draw upon to ensure the training is relevant.

    My first aid training is hands-on and I have an inclusive range of CPR manikins including female manikins and manikins with different skin tones. The manikins have lights that respond to give you feedback on the quality of your compressions.
